I want to thank Derrick for being an amazing yoga coach. I have been doing yoga for as long as I can remember, but having Derrick as our instructor, I realized the importance of having guidance. It helps me channel my yoga practise in a direction and I can truly see my progress.

My only tips as a long time yogi:
Ask at the start about any injuries or limitations and be prepared to offer modifications if needed
Think about foot position changes needed when constructing a flow sequence. Eg squat to plank.

The first yoga class I attended with guided fitness was Marlen’s class and I find it very very relaxing. She adds her personal touch to the class like the essential oil and the sound bath at the end of the class and it makes me look forward for her class every time. I like her yoga teaching style even more, her clear guidance and attention.

I find Derrick’s yoga teaching style really easy to follow and his guidance is very clear. All his classes I attended leave me relaxed and calm. I appreciate his effort in making the yoga experience to unwind the day. ( I love the touch of sage burner/coop stick at beginning of the class, I find it very comforting)

There are plenty of mats and weights for everyone. The space is great, perfect for small groups and with a mirror to see how to do the exercises and the class.
