Great class and so much information! Nice pace, not overwhelming. The meditation encouraged relaxation and reflection. I think the additional classes mentioned will expand my knowledge of this subject.

Good class overall and easy to follow exercises. Very motivational and great core workout. My only issue with this class was the audio cut in and out several times, but still enjoyed the class.

A good experience and introduction to vegan cooking. I was glad the recipe didn’t include tofu, as I have cooked with it previously and was looking for some additional vegan recipes. Elizabeth is knowledgable about the subject and gave tips on preparation of ingredients. It was helpful to actually make the recipe and have my dinner prepared at the conclusion of class.

Rebecca seemed to know what we needed our experience to be. More seated poses than standing and low key. Excellent experience. I could see someone with mobility issues sitting on the couch to modify this practice.

This was a very nice class after the holidays - with beautiful flow, guidance, supportive of personal limits, and strengths. I felt relaxed as well as an increase in energy at the class end.

Great format, instruction and demonstration of a healthy holiday salad to make. I was disappointed in the attendance. It seemed that the facility only put up a sign the day before and it was not very eye catching. I would like to see a more aggressive advertising of this under utilized benefit of living at Six Oaks!

Kristine’s excellent guidance helped to overcome the distraction of noise from a party scheduled to start after class but was set up at the same time we started. I realize a party needs set up time but be respectful of others using the facility.

Every time I attend a class taught by Kristine I think it can’t be better. This was the best yet. Relaxing, calming yet energizing and peaceful. Fun music choices and meditative relaxation at the finish. I am looking forward to more frequent classes being held in the new year. Excellent instructor. Highly recommend this class.

Gentle yoga is a relaxing hour of yoga and stretching and some meditation for quieting a busy mind. I would definitely take this class again.

The class was great and I loved the format and timing of it in my week. The space felt small to hold 9 of us exercising, one coach, and other individuals working out on their own. It might be nice to consider bringing equipment into a bigger space--maybe outdoors?

I really liked this class. I liked the way it was laid out and that Derek is not a "killer wanna-be" coach. He was just a normal guy who wasn't loud or boisterous (6 a.m. and I am NOT up for that ;-! ). I thought it was pretty perfect for me and my needs.

I had an introductory session with Topher. I appreciated how gracious he is and that he has significant experience with clients of all ages across the lifespan- from youth to seniors. He can work with clients with a range of fitness levels with unique health goals and body types. I would highly recommend him. 5 Stars!

It’s nice to be able to close the door to the media room. But that carpet is disgusting. The carpet squares are separated and the carpet and floor need cleaning. It would be nice to have that on the Friday schedule. I’m sad that the participation isn’t larger. This is a great benefit of living at Six Oaks!

The yoga space in the commons is generally a workable, beautiful and calm space, conducive to yoga practice. It is always appreciated when other tenants are respectful of the yoga class if passing through or potentially making noise.

Good gym, although some tenants seemed unable to wait for 15 minutes for the end of yoga class to start their use of weights. We were able to continue the class even though they were slightly distracting at the end. Peace and neighborly goodwill!

The carpet definitely needs replacing in the tv space. If more people attend, the capacity to move into the larger Commons is available, but the bare concrete floor will be a challenge without a blanket under the yoga mat.

It may have been better to have a bit more space like maybe doing it in the larger area of the oak commons instead of the smaller tv room, but on the other hand since there were only 5 of us this class, it was kind of nice to be able to close off the space to outside noise in the smaller tv room so overall it was still a pretty good space. Kristine set up the space well for us.

The carpet where we practiced, in the tv lounge, was dirty. This area really isn’t appropriate for this type of class. Maximum was 8 but the 4 of us in that space was a tight fit. Elsewhere in the room might not be better on the hard concrete floor but there will be more space if the table is moved. Acoustics in the tv room were good but I’m not sure in the more open space it would be easy to hear the instructor’s cues. The exercise room would not be an alternative option, as that is too small. If classes are continued, urge participants to bring a blanket to put under a yoga mat for a softer surface. I do hope that the class will be continued.

not enough space for that many people for about 1/2 the class. kept kicking the wall or not being able to stretch all the way during certain exercises

Small to accomodate larger groups. I wiped down equipment afterwards but was the only person to do so, which makes me wonder about the cleanliness of it.
