HIIT is a type of interval training exercise. It incorporates several rounds alternating between several minutes of higher-intensity movements, including strength and functional movements to significantly increase the heart rate, metabolic rate, and body temperature, followed by short periods of lower-intensity activities. You can expect to warm up the body, get a great strength and cardio workout from head to toe, and finish with a nice cool down and recovery.
